It is an apt maxim that “Technology doesn’t always love you back”.
A lady in Tobermory, Ontario drove down a pontoon incline and into Lake Huron last Thursday on account of defective headings from her GPS.
As per the Canadian Press, the lady (who did not have any desire to be recognized for justifiable reasons) was endeavoring to explore an evening time haze, and depended excessively vigorously on the GPS to lead her in the right bearing.
Fortunately, she could lower the window, recover her tote and climb out of the auto before it began to sink.
She is supposedly doing fine and dandy, without any wounds other than a couple of mechanical trust issues.
The GPS has not yet apologized for its activities.
